These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the BB Tanz website at www.bbtanz.com and the BB Tanz SMS/text program. The salon is operated by BB Tanz LLC (“BB Tanz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at 4508 Coliseum Blvd, Suite H, Alexandria, LA 71303.

By using the Site, visiting the salon, or opting in to texts, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or the messaging program.

1. Who we are

BB Tanz is a locally owned salon in Alexandria, Louisiana offering red light therapy, UV tanning, and non-UV tanning. Contact:

2. Salon services

Hours, pricing, packages, and promotions on the Site are informational and may change. Walk-ins are welcome during posted hours unless we state otherwise. Spray tans, when offered, may require an appointment.

Red light therapy and tanning services are not a substitute for medical advice. Consult your healthcare provider if you have medical concerns, skin conditions, are pregnant, or take photosensitive medications. UV tanning involves exposure to ultraviolet light and may increase the risk of skin damage.

You are responsible for following posted salon rules and for telling staff about conditions that may make UV tanning or red light therapy inappropriate for you.

3. Website use

You may use the Site for lawful, personal purposes related to BB Tanz. You may not misuse the Site, attempt to break its security, scrape it in a way that harms the service, or submit false information through our forms.

Content on the Site (including branding, copy, and images) belongs to BB Tanz or its licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

4. BB Fanz Club emails

If you join BB Fanz Club, you agree to receive periodic emails with discounts, promos, and salon updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails. Email signup is optional and is not required to visit the salon or buy a package.

5. SMS program terms

BB Tanz offers an SMS/MMS program (the “SMS Program”) using our business phone number, including (318) 625-7144, which may be provisioned and delivered through Twilio.

Program description

The SMS Program sends recurring text messages from BB Tanz about salon updates, hours and closure notices, package and promotion information, customer care, and replies to messages you send us.

How to opt in

You can opt in by:

• Providing your mobile number in person at BB Tanz and agreeing to receive texts.
• Texting a published keyword (such as JOIN or START) to (318) 625-7144.
• Completing a BB Tanz web or paper form that includes SMS consent language and an unchecked consent box.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to texts to buy a session or package or to visit the salon.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive recurring messages. We may send more messages around promotions, holiday hours, or when you text us first.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Check your wireless plan for details. BB Tanz does not charge a separate fee for the SMS Program.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to cancel. You may also reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. After we receive your opt-out, we will send a one-time confirmation and then stop sending recurring SMS Program messages to that number. You may opt back in later by texting START or joining again in person.

Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in to the SMS Program. By opting in, you represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you provide.

Privacy

We handle mobile numbers and message content as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier’s network and your device.

Supported carriers

The SMS Program is intended for U.S. mobile numbers. Availability may vary by carrier.

6. Phone calls

You may call (318) 625-7144 for hours, directions, and salon questions. If we call you, it will be for customer care related to BB Tanz (for example, returning a voicemail or confirming a spray-tan appointment). Our voice and text services may be provided by Twilio.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and SMS Program are provided “as is.” We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Salon results vary. Red light therapy and tanning are wellness and cosmetic services, not medical treatment.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, BB Tanz LLC and its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, the SMS Program, or salon services. Some limitations may not apply where prohibited by Louisiana law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts located in Rapides Parish, Louisiana have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief where appropriate.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted at www.bbtanz.com/terms with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site or SMS Program after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
