BB Tanz LLC (“BB Tanz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the tanning and red light therapy salon at 4508 Coliseum Blvd, Suite H, Alexandria, LA 71303, and the website www.bbtanz.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit the salon, use the Site, join BB Fanz Club, call or text us, or otherwise interact with BB Tanz.

This policy is written to support registration of BB Tanz business phone numbers, including numbers provided through Twilio, and to meet U.S. A2P 10DLC messaging disclosure requirements.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• BB Fanz Club and website forms: first name, email address, and your consent to receive emails.
• Salon visits and purchases: name, phone number, email, package or session details, and payment information needed to complete a purchase.
• Calls and texts: your phone number, the content of messages or voicemails you send us, and related call or text records.
• Customer care: information you include when you email, call, text, or speak with us in person.

Information collected automatically

• When you use the Site, we may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Site.
• BB Fanz Club signups also record the time of signup and, where available, IP address and browser information so we can prevent spam and keep a record of consent.

Information from service providers

Our communications and hosting providers may generate logs needed to deliver email, voice, and text services (for example, delivery status, timestamps, and the numbers involved in a call or text).

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Provide salon services, packages, and customer support.
• Send BB Fanz Club emails you opted into, including discounts and salon updates.
• Send and receive phone calls and SMS/MMS messages related to BB Tanz, including promotional texts if you opted in, service updates, and replies to your messages.
• Process purchases and keep business records.
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site and our communications.
• Prevent fraud, spam, and abuse, and to comply with law.

We do not use mobile opt-in data or SMS consent to sell, rent, or share your number with unrelated companies for their own marketing.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run BB Tanz, deliver communications you requested, or comply with the law:

• Twilio, Inc. — our voice and text messaging provider. Twilio processes phone numbers and message/call content as needed to connect, register, and operate our business phone number and to deliver SMS, MMS, and calls.
• Email providers (currently Resend, and Mailchimp if that list is used) — to send BB Fanz Club and transactional emails and to store the mailing list.
• Website hosting (currently Vercel) — to host www.bbtanz.com.
• Payment processors and banks — to complete in-salon purchases.
• Professional advisors such as accountants or attorneys, when needed to operate the business.
• Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our clients, staff, or the public.

These companies are used as service providers. They are not given your mobile number or SMS consent so they can market their own products to you.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Text messaging program details

BB Tanz may send SMS and MMS messages from our business number, including (318) 625-7144.

• Types of messages: salon updates, hours and closure notices, package and promotion information, replies to texts you send us, and other customer-care messages.
• Frequency: message frequency varies. You may receive recurring messages.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: reply STOP to cancel. You may also text STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. After you opt out we will send a one-time confirmation and then stop promotional and recurring texts to that number.
• Help: reply HELP or contact us at (318) 625-7144 or info@BBTanz.com.
• Consent: you can opt in in person at the salon, by texting a published keyword to our number, or through a BB Tanz form that clearly requests SMS consent. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any good or service.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Additional SMS terms are in our Terms & Conditions.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies or similar technologies that are needed for the website to function (for example, to keep a form working or remember a preference). We do not use advertising cookies to track you across other websites, and we do not sell cookie data.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including salon records, consent records, and legal or accounting requirements. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe or we delete the list record. Mobile numbers used for texts are kept while you remain opted in and for a reasonable period afterward so we can honor opt-out requests and maintain business records. Call and text logs may be retained by us or by Twilio according to their retention settings and our records needs.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use care when sending sensitive information by email or text.

9. Your choices

• Emails: unsubscribe using the link in any BB Fanz Club email, or email info@BBTanz.com.
• Texts: reply STOP to our number, or ask us in person or by email to remove your number.
• Access or correction: email info@BBTanz.com to review or update information we have about you.
• Deletion: you may ask us to delete personal information we hold, subject to records we must keep for legal, security, or accounting reasons (including SMS opt-out records).

10. Do not sell or share

BB Tanz does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share mobile contact information, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

11. Children

The Site and our messaging program are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Our SMS program is limited to individuals 18 years of age or older. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact info@BBTanz.com and we will delete it.

12. Third-party sites and providers

Our Site may link to third-party sites (for example, Google Maps). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Twilio’s privacy notice is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. The current version will always be posted at www.bbtanz.com/privacy.
